Visitor Tips

Unity of Charlottesville welcomes all people, regardless of religion, faith or spiritual tradition, race, creed, sexual orientation, or gender identity. The Unity philosophy is open, accepting and non-dogmatic. We respect each person’s right to follow their own spiritual path. Our primary text is the Bible but we draw on the wisdom from many faith traditions.

When are Sunday services?

Sunday services are held at 10:30 AM. After the service, please join us on the terrace level for refreshments and fellowship.

What about parking?

Parking is available and abundant in our parking lot. We also have designated handicapped parking.

How can I learn more about Unity?

Talk to our minister, staff or other congregants, come to an Introduction to Unity class, visit our bookstore, or check out the main website for the Unity movement at www.unity.org.

How can I become a Voting Member of Unity of Charlottesville?

All are welcome to attend services and activities without becoming a Voting Member of Unity of Charlottesville.

If you are interested in becoming a voting member, please talk to our Minister! We offer courses that orient folks to Unity's principles as part of the path to membership.

Voting members elect our Board of Trustees, vote on big issues concerning the community, and commit to tithing of talents, time, or resources.
