Unity has a Transition Minister!
 
The Unity Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that we have signed a contract with Rev Richard Bunch to be UOC's Transition Minister befinning August 15, 2025!  Rev. Richard has over 25 years of experience as a Unity minister and in more recent years has served several Unity churches as their Transitiion Minister, assisting them in self-study and identifying what they are looking for in a new minister.  Starting in July, Rev. Richard will be contacting individual Board members, Staff and Team Leaders to have one-on-one discussions as a way to get to know us prior to his arrival on August 15th.
 
Save the Dates! June 27, 28 & 29 - Transition Weekend with Rev. Pat Bessey
 
While we are waiting for Rev. Richard's arrival, we will have the privledge of getting to work with Rev. Pat Bessey, who will be at UOC June 27 - 29 to assist us in an initial workshop on ministry transition.  Rev. Pat has been the Regional Consultant for Unity Worldwide Ministries Eastern Region for over 20 years. This means that she's had broad experience with the over ninety Unity churches and study centers comprising the Eastern Region of 17 states from Maine to Virginia. In addition, she is the liaison with Unity Worldwide Ministries and has served on numerous UWM teams. Rev. Pat is currently the minister of Unity of Portland, Maine where she has served for many years.  
 
This will be a very important event in shaping the future of Unity of Charlottesville and we hope everyone will participarte!!  More details about our weekend with Rev. Pat will be forthcoming soon.  For now, SAVE THE DATES: June 27, 28 & 29!!!
