Transition Update

The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Rev. Catherine Klein will be serving as Unity of Charlottesville's Minister of Record (MOR) beginning January 1, 2026.  A MOR helps Unity churches who are currently without a Senior Minister during the transition period between full-time ministers.  For a description of what a MOR does and the specific areas with which Rev. Klein will be assisting UOC, please see the attached document below.

The Board of Trustees is very excited about this opportunity to work with Rev. Klein as UOC enters the new year, knowing we are well on our way to securing a new Senior Minister.

Rev. Catherine describes her ministry in the following way:

“My Vision of Ministry is to help create and serve an inclusive, intergenerational spiritual community where all are inspired to a greater understanding of their Christ nature and encouraged to transform their lives through the practice of their co-creative power and spiritual gifts. My Purpose as a minister is to teach the Truth taught by Jesus and interpreted through Unity Principles.

I am committed to helping each individual apply these teachings to their lives so that they are able to experience abundance, emotional growth and spiritual transformation.  I am dedicated to walking compassionately along side my congregation as a fellow traveler, sharing my wisdom, love and support and gratefully accepting theirs.”
